The setup
VividPrice gives a patient an insurance-adjusted cost estimate before treatment, so the practice collects up front and the patient is not surprised later. Lucent Pricing sells it to infusion centers and physician offices. The product worked. The company needed someone to own go-to-market without adding a full-time executive.
What we did
Pierce sat in the Head of Growth seat, fractionally, from 2024 to 2026, working alongside the CEO and President. He wrote roughly 95% of vividprice.com, designed the client demo process end to end, set up and administered HubSpot, implemented Zoho Desk for support, and trained new hires on the internal systems.
He also brokered a partnership with Allegiance Group, whose Collect Plus platform handles patient collections, and ran the integration himself: prepayment estimates texted to patients, accounts provisioned automatically, real-time sync between the two platforms. The build reached working software before the engagement closed.
The numbers
- The client base grew 100%.
- The company's LinkedIn following grew 833%.
- Customer locations running the tool grew from 20 to more than 200.
The sister company
Lucent Pricing is the sister company of Sage Infusion, a specialty infusion provider where Electrik Kettle runs operations and training work. We sold the tool into infusion centers and built systems inside one.
The takeaway
A founder-led software company does not need a full-time growth executive to grow like it has one. It needs an operator who owns the number, writes the words, and builds the partnerships that make the product bigger.
