The setup
Sage Infusion treats autoimmune conditions at specialty infusion clinics across Florida and opens about three new locations a year. Growth was outrunning the systems behind it: intake onboarding, internal training, and the sales team's tooling all had to scale with the clinic count.
What we did
Pierce rebuilt intake-team onboarding for two roles and overhauled the internal training programs. He administered HubSpot and implemented SalesRabbit for territory management and appointment scheduling, with two-way sync into HubSpot. He built training for the prior authorization and claims teams, and advises executive leadership directly on process redesign.
The clinical work is the clinicians' own. Electrik Kettle built the operating systems around it and makes no clinical claims on the provider's behalf.
The numbers
- Clinic count went from 10 to more than 20 during the engagement.
- The network sees more than 4,000 patient visits a month, 200 to 400 at each clinic.
- Intake onboarding rebuilt for two roles, plus training for the PA and claims teams.
The sister company
Sage Infusion is the sister company of Lucent Pricing, whose VividPrice product Pierce grew as fractional Head of Growth. We built systems inside an infusion provider and sold the tool that infusion providers buy.
The takeaway
A provider adding locations does not have a marketing problem first. It has a systems problem, and the systems have to be in place before the next clinic opens. Build them once and every new location inherits them.
